General Information: Ordering a cake at Cake Time required a minimum of one day notice for any cake. All the Wedding and Theme cakes may need a minimum of 5 day notice. The customer is required to deposit 25% of the sale price (deposit is non-refundable; speak to a member of staff for further detail/information).
Tier Cake: Be Careful there are few PLASTIC supports in this cake, please remove them before serving.
Variations such as: Cake size, Colour and design may not appear like the images on our website. Design and icing of cake may vary from the image shown here since each chef has his/her own way of baking and designing a cake. The numbers of serving are an approximated guide by CakeTime. The actual portion of serving will vary according to how the cake is sliced.
Message: All our cakes have a free handwritten personalised message, average up to 35 characters including space and other letter. It may vary due to size and shape of the cake.
Coloured cream may stain and taste bitter. It may also cause hypertension in the children.
Photo cake: Edible photos will deteriorate if stored longer than 10 hours. For the best results and appearance, the agreed delivery time should ideally be a few hours prior to the event.
When you are ordering a photo cake make sure you provide us a HD photo in JPEG format. We may crop the picture to best fit on the cake so you may lose some part of the picture. Please make sure you provide us suitable image that can fit on the cake. You take full responsibility for the use of images you provide us against any claim for infringement of copyright and for requesting permission from the person to use of their images.
Non-edible decoration figures: Plastic figures that are used on our cakes are meant for decoration purposes, therefore they are not edible. We advise you to carefully remove them and keep out of a children’s reach. Smaller bits may cause a choking hazard.
CANCELLATION: Please note that any order cancellation within 24 hours of delivery/collection schedule will NOT be receiving a refund. However, more than 24 hours you will get a 75% refund (depend on the circumstances). If a refund is required, a cancellation fee of £5 will be charged before the money is refunded to cover the processing costs.
DELIVERY: The delivery of your cake is handled by a dedicated member of our Cake Time Limited staff. Your cake will be securely packaged inside a sturdy cardboard box to ensure it arrives in pristine condition. In the event of unexpected circumstances, such as heavy traffic or unforeseen delays, our delivery team will promptly notify you.
Upon arrival at your address, you can expect a knock at your door or your doorbell to be rung. If you live in a building or flat, we will ask your assistance to come downstairs to meet the driver at the main entrance. We kindly request you to check your cake and other products visually and the message on your cake. Any damage to the order must be reported immediately. Please take photographic evidence to solve the problem in a more efficient approach. Report the matter to the driver and refuse the delivery. If, however, you are not at home when the delivery is attempted, the cake will be returned to our team. We kindly request that you contact our management team (info@caketimelimited.co.uk or call us directly) immediately to reschedule the delivery. Due to the inconvenience/short notice upon your absence, you may be charged a nominal fee.
Please be aware that in such cases, refunds will not be provided. Our delivery team will ensure that your order is promptly delivered at an agreed upon time. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving you. All CakeTime products should be transported carefully. After delivery, CakeTime is not responsible if any cakes get damaged during the transportation by customers.
STORAGE: All of our fresh cream cakes have a 24 hours fridge shelf life. Please consume within 24 hours of delivery or collection. For superior results, refrigerate the cake within 30 minutes or up to one hour of the delivery arrival. We kindly request you store between 2 – 5 degrees Celsius.
Bank transfer is required to be paid in advance prior to the delivery schedule. However we accept cash on delivery, please discuss to a member of staff at the time of order.
